Is there a lip product I can put on my lips before I apply lipstick to them to stop my lipstick color from disappearing into my lips? - thanks

There are lip primers out there, but I can't say how good they are because I've not tried them. If I am wearing "regular " lipstick I always line my lips with a lip liner and I go ahead and put the lip liner all over my lips. It seems to help the lipstick stay a little longer IMO. It's like the lipstick has something to hold on to.

@BeautifulLavenderRose  Check on the Evine website or maybe eBay for Skinn Lip 6x Pro.  It's in a short black vacuum pump bottle.  You only need a little bit, only a very small portion of a pump's worth.  Smooth some onto your lips before your lipstick.  It's a little bit tacky, but it's meant to make your lipstick adhere better and last longer.  Some people get a little plumping effect, but others don't.

I've always worn (transparent) lip balm under my lipstick, and it seems to help the color 'hold on' better.

Plus, lip products apply better when your lips are hydrated and smooth.
