For anyone here who has tried both the Givenchy TSV and Clinique " Black Honey ," are they similar and if not which do you prefer ? TIA

I had both of these and lost the Black Honey.  My memory tells me they are pretty much the same.  In honor the TSV I'm wearing the Givenchy today.

I am using the black lipstick from HSN ---is a Korean brand from the Beauty Spy girl---have used the one that is the TSV today --both are the same but think the big G brand is a little more moist going on. However--spending $25 a tube is not in my budget, even at a special price--got 3 of the other for $30.

If I remember correctly the Black Honey leans a little more warm brown whereas the Givenchy is a berry/purple depending on your lip color. I can tell you that Givenchy lipsticks are great. At one point that is all I purchased because they are such a superior lipstick.

Never tried the Givenchy, sorry not in my budget for lipstick. but I have Black Honey, Lipstick Queen Hello Sailor, Lipstick Queen Blue By You and the one from HSN called Heart and Seoul. I actually love them all and find them to do exactly what they say without breaking the bank to achieve the same look.

I currently own both Black Honey and the Givenchy black lipstick.  While the color of the two is similar on me, the feel of the Givenchy lipstick is creamier and more comfortable on my lips.  It is expensive, but definitely superior to me.

I've never purchased the Givenchy lipstick since I buy too much makeup to spend that on one product. I have however worn Black Honey for many years and seeing the way the Givenchy ones looks on models, I don't see enough difference.
