My new fave gloss is the ELF Sun Boss Gloss. Nice colors and nice formula. My fave is Peachy Kween, a soft coral.

@silkyk @Janey2 @Shelbelle @Still Raining @LizzieInSRQ ............Thanks for the suggestions, hints and product information.  I appreciate it.

First I am going to try a new lip balm, I use Chapstick's but it doesnt last, just have to keep reapplying it.  I am going to try another brand for something different.

Then I am going to get a lip gloss, just have to decide what color  I want and the brand.

Thanks again ladies!

I use Laura Geller clear lip liner. It's invisible so you can line your lips just outside your natural lip line and the gloss won't migrate.

Thank you for posting this @LizzieInSRQ .  I've been wanting to try a lip stain because the color lasts all day on stains (from what I've read).   I'm also planning on wearing gloss over it.  Is this the color that you received?

@Imaoldhippie

One last suggestion: Have you considered using one of those clear lip pencils as a barrier to lipgloss seeping? I use the Urban Decay 24/7 one, which works as long as the lip gloss isn't drippy.

@San Antonio Gal

i've tried a few of these. They were Ok but not great. The main problem for me was the colors I tried ended up looking warm toned on me, and I look like wretchedness personified in warm shades.

Re: Lip gloss suggestions

@San Antonio Gal that is the color i receivrd. Its slightly darker than the packaging but not by much.

Also i was mistaken. I received it in my seasonal (every 3 months) Walmart Beauty Box, not Ipsy monthly.

Check out Walmart for all the colors.

@LizzieInSRQ @San Antonio Gal  I really like the CoverGirl stain! Suge Girl is my favorite for a fairly natural look, topped by Buxom Full On Lip Cream in Dolly. One caution about Buxom glosses, though--they are "plumpers" so there is a tingling feeling that some may not like.

I quit using liners years ago, just too much of a pain (for me). I found that using a stain, topped by a gloss, left me with color on my lips for most of the day--had to reapply gloss sometimes, of course.
