Charlotte Tilbury had a lipstick named "The Duchess", it must have been a limited edition because I can't find it now.  It was of course for Kate, at the same time there was a shade for Nicole Kidman and another for Kim Kardashian.

They described "The Duchess" as tea rose pink.

Have you ever tried using a bit of concealer on top of your lipstick?  Just tap a small amount on the center of your lower lip (after you have applied your lipstick) and tap it around.  You can transform any lipstick into a new shade.  Often if I have a lipstick that is deeper or brighter than I want I will do this to change the color.  You can make it very nude if you want to.

I prefer the lighter tone on her.  She looks so much younger in my opinion. Just fresh and youthful.

The darker option brings out the redness in her skin tone which ages her.

Like @Shanus and @Lucky Dog I have also read she likes and wears Bobbi Brown.

 I had BB Sandwash Pink once. I liked it, but I really needed something a tad darker. I just saw the picture of Kate online and that color was listed as the one she was wearing. Apparently it's discontinued now.
