Still like Burt's Bees.

I use their tinted balms instead of lipstick or gloss.  Favorites are Hibiscus, Rose and Red Dahlia.

And I always have a selection of their non-tinted balms on hand.

I live in the high desert where lip balm is mandatory.

I used to use Burt's Bees.  I had to use so much, due to an autoimmune disease called Sjogrens disease, that I decided to try making my own. I love it. It contains shea butter,  coco butter, coconut oil, argan oil, mango butter, vitamin E, and bees wax.

I think the colors are flattering.  Subtle.  They don't stick to my teeth like gloss or lipstick.

I thought the Red Dahlia would be too much but it's become my favorite.  Could never wear red lipstick, so it sort of scratches that itch.

Rose and Hibiscus are nice, too.  Hibiscus is sort of peachy-pink.

 Not expensive and I'll have a tube for the longest time.

@just bee  Ooh Red Dahlia is very pretty, I bet you look lovely in it! I'm going to see if I can find that at Walgreens along with the peachy pink Hibiscus color .  Long lasting and affordable- sign me up!

I opened my tube of Rose today and wondered if you'd tried any of the balms yet.

If so, what do you think?

I was a tad concerned because I looked at my favorites online and it seemed as if the colors were slightly different.  I sure hope not!  I think the original ones were spot-on.

My new favorite is the Laneige lip sleeping mask. That's the name but I wear it as a moisturizer all the time.  They do have a berry flavor.

@just bee  Hey there, Just Bee !  I forgot to buy the Burts Bees tinted lip balms- but Walgreens is having a BOGO 50% off sale, so i'll try ot get them sometime soon.  I read that the packaging changed on the tinted balms, but I don't think the colors of the balms have changed.  I'll research some more and try to find out if the colors or formulation of the colors have changed.
