Kat Von D would be good for me with the pink.
The MAC foundations cause my skin to break out.
So many white products have been discontinued.
The two that might work for you, that have no pink, are 100%Pure in Creme (Fair) and/or blending a mineral (I use faerieorganics) in white? Never tried the minerals in a liquid foundation tho

I got a new Lancome and it is too dark. I asked for some samples of 2 shades lighter and I mixed. I think this will lighten enough. I think they would have taken it back but it had been a while.

Sorry... Couldn't resist
Good to know, though. I've not seen ROP before.

IMO, mixing a lighter color of the same kind of foundation makes the most sense since it won't alter the overall composition of the product, other than the shade. If you're still interested in color correcting drops, Algenist make some. I have no experience with them.

Thanks for all the replies!
For those interested, I picked up The Body Shop Drops; they come in Lightening and Darkening shades. You use 1 drop to your entire foundation amount used for application. You do NOT mix them with the entire bottle of foundation which many products say they can do. Apparently this will change the base of your foundation and make it not work the same way. The Lightening is not pure white but a white with the slightest hint of yellow-pink..... almost a neutralizer. Hard to explain but with a too pink foundation it toned it down and with a too yellow it cooled it; both became a neutral shade as well a an entire shade lighter.
So far I've tried this with a thicker creamy foundation made for dry skin but I'm going to try with all the ones I have (I have quite a few) and see what happens.
The other 3 (MAC, NYX and Algenist) I will have to order as none are carried in a store in my area (or state, for that matter).
Yes, mixing a lighter shade in the same line of foundation makes the most sense but I'm already the lightest shade in the few lines that make something close to as pale as I am. Estee Lauder, for example, would have to offer a shade 3-4 shades LIGHTER than the lightest one they make in ALL their foundations. Being pale makes foundation shopping a true quest.
