Light eye shadow

Being in my 60s now, I feel like even medium color eyeshadows don't bring out my eyes. I think I would like to try a light shadow, but all I see in the drugstores are darker colors with a highlighter. I am not sure I want to put a highlighter on my lids. Can anyone suggest a good drugstore product with light colors? Thanks.
