Lids by design - anyone try?

So I'm playing around w/ makeup and was taking a selfie to send to my sister (ugh, trashed that puppy, lol) and I notice I have a very droopy right eyelid.

I saw these Lids By Design things on a YT video and they look cool, but I wonder if they work at all? I'm not going to have eye surgery for my crepey, droopy eyes, but if there's an actual thing that makes your eyes appear more open on a temp basis, I would be interested in trying. TIA.

I never tried them so I went to look at reviews. The reviews are not particularly good. Google the product and read the reviews.

I tried them one time and that's all it took. Difficult to put on and imo they don't look natural. I even tried to put on some shadow to hide them but it didn't help. They also started to come off on the outer edges. I threw them in the trash.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I did read the reviews and sometimes reviews leaving me scratching my head wondering which version is correct. My droopy eye will survive.

I bought some and never could get them to work correctly. I ended up trying fifteen of them before I gave up. Amazon reviews are in the middle of the road. They do have some before and after photos of customers in the reviews so maybe that would help with your decision. It couldn't hurt to try, anyway, since some people liked them.

I went to amazon and read some of the reviews - one person stated that there is another brand, less expensive that they got on amazon that worked great for her (and this brand didn't).  She didn't say what the other brand was, of course.  You could try a few and see!  Also, noticed that plexiderm is on HSN, but maybe that is not for upper lids?  plus, most people seem not to like it.  How about the genie serum?  There must be temporary lifters out there that really work.  @kate2357

@moonandthestars I read that review too ... why don't people give the name of the better product? LOL. Maybe you can't, I don't remember if I have ever listed a better product in an Amazon review.

I may try one of the less expensive kits. Not sure yet. The YT video showing the lids by design sure made the eyes look more open. The MU person did not put eye makeup over the strips and in the video, you can't see the strips. BUT, that's a video and I'm not an expert on makeup, so who knows.

Thank you for your suggestion.
