I am a peel rookie. Basically the thought of peeling off a layer of skin scares me.
Who should use a peel? What type of skin do they most benefit? How often is an effective amount without overdoing it?
I use either AHA or retinol or tretinoin cream every night, vitamin C during the day. I use a glycolic peel pad a couple times per week, when I remember. I exfoliate with a salux cloth a few times per week. That's my extent of exfoliation. My skin is normal to dry (more on the normal side, never feels dry when I have products applied). My skin is smooth, fairly firm, have a few small age spots.
How and where would I work in a peel and....should I? Is it necessary?
