Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

Hi!  I use it after I finish all my night time skin care. The experts advise on clean skin and then apply your skincare. I have no idea why but I like to do it the other way around. At night, I cleanse with Purity, Rx Retin A, Algenist moisturizer and neck/eye creams. Either way, your products will absorb deeper on the nights you roll.

I buy a new roller every six months. When I first started I rolled every third night so I actually bought a new roller at the end of month 3. Now I roll a couple times a week, maybe once every five days. I'm not very scientific about it.

I started with 1.0 mm. I now use 1.5 mm. According to the experts, I probably should be using the .5 mm.

You roll with a slight amount of pressure, you should not be drawing blood!!! I have a hard time believing these needles are even penetrating the skin but I guess they are. I have no marks when I do this. I get a bit of redness that is gone within 10 or 15 minutes.

Certain areas of my face are more sensitive than others. I can't do my lips or the area above my lips. Darn those lip wrinkles! I do it ever ever so lightly. It also seems to bug me on the cheek area right next to my nose. I roll under my eyes, east to west only.

Finally, there is great debate (advice??) on the directions to roll in. I roll east to west, pick up roller and again east to west over the same area. I do this three or five times then move to the next section. I then go back and do north to south, pick up roller, norht to south.  In other words, I don't go back and forth. I also do not do diagonals. Personal choice based on what I have read or watched on YT.

The rollers I buy are cheap from amazon or ebay, I think they are usually about $12 with shipping.

I have a spray bottle with 91% alcohol in it and I spritz it the roller a few times after each use.

Recently started rolling my hands, too. Interestinly, I do get little ****** marks, as though I've been playing with a kitten, from time to time.

I see the most improvement in my neck but have to believe it is helping everything. I still use my Retin A, SPF every day, and botox on the 11s.

If you have any other questions, you can find me on facebook with this same name.

Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

I just got around to using it last night.  It hurt more than I expected, and the area was pretty red.   I've had fraxel, so I was expecting some pain and redness/heat afterward, but this was more than I expected for a home device.  I put ice packs on afterward, which helped with the heat and followed with the tria eye serum, a vitamin c serum and cetaphil moisturizer.  When I woke up today, there was still some residual redness, but nothing horrible.  The undereye did seem a bit drier than normal.  I have some aquaphor, might use that after the serum and plain moisturizer (I was instructed to use aquaphor after my fraxel).  Will keep at it.  Wonder if doing a red led treatment would help with any irritation.

Funny @scottygal - I'm thinking of trying it on my lip contour and on a chicken pox scar on my forehead...

@Lulu Bea,

I am a roller, too. It's the one thing that I can honestly say has made a big difference in the firmness and smoothness of my skin.

Tria ADL gave me broken caps and that's why I started rolling. It really works.Woman Happy

@SilleeMee@Lulu Bea

My skin is very sensitive to anything mechanical. In fact, just using a mild physical exfoliator (granules of any sort) makes my skin red for a while. Please tell me more about your rolling experience. Doesn't it hurt? Does it leave your face red? For how long? Also what kind of roller do you have? It looks so scary.

I ordered the one they sold on HSN (bioscience or something like that). It featured rolling needles plus red light. However, the device felt cheap in my hands. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something that seemed like it would not last.

@Valstybaby,

As much as I want to give advice on "how-to" or "how much", I would rather you gather information, as I did, from a professional. May I suggest this book...it's short 175 pages will give all the info you need to know about rolling. This book is written so that anyone can understand it...no medical terms you can't pronounce and no case studies...just info to help with rolling at home. It's very good!  Cost is around 50 and worth it.Woman Happy

Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

I've been using this device for three weeks now and every day, I experience a bit more discomfort.  In fact, now the skin around my eyes seems to be drier and puffier than the day before.  The tissue under the eye is also becoming red.  Now, I've read in these reviews that I am supposed to put a gel or cream on the eye area before I begin treatment.  Is this true?  The directions state to use on clean, dry skin.  What gives?

Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

I use my serums when I use the Tria. I don't care what they say. It makes the machine move across my skin much easier and I have no irritation or dryness. I do think I'm noticing some improvement in the crinkles on my face and the plumpness of my skin. I will continue to use this and see what my final results are.

Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

@cupcaked, i had trouble with glide too - emailed Tria, was told I could use a non greasy treatment before using the the laser. ive been using isomers immortal about 10 minutes prior. I also squint a bit to make the under eye a bit more taut. After treatment I use a cold eye compress, then a vit c serum, the Tria eye serum, and a bit of aquaphor. Irritation is much less now compared to the first time.

Re: Let's post about the TSV Tria Eye Laser progress........

An update:  The skin under my eyes got so bad I decided to send it back.  I needed a trip to the dermatologist's office because my eyes looked so bad.   She said my skin is not suitable for an eye laser.  Very disappointed.
