Re: Let's Name Our Holy Grails (Again)

New Holy Grail - Gwen Stefani's brow pencil:  Hello On Point

It Cosmetics CC Foundation - great coverage plus SPF

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for Face and Body, Daily Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin with Pump - has ceramides which really plump and firm my skin

L'AIR DU TEMPS perfume in the double dove bottle.  The EDT and cologne have very little lasting power, but the perfume is a winner

@justashopper If Vaseline was so harmful it would not be used on babies and it would be taken off the shelves.  Vaseline has been around for many years and will continue to be offered.  Of course, other vendors have to put it down and wish they thought of it.

Laniege sleeping lip mask.  Only product that works on my medication dried lips.  Keep at least two on hand.

Dr Dennis Gross retinol and ferulic eye serum.  This just seems to work on me.

My Omnilux red light therapy face mask, Tria Age Defying Laser and NuFace Trinity.  My favorite beauty tools and I keep them charged and clean.

@monicakm

Love the Hourglass Primer.  Have you ever tried the super sized?  I did once and I didn't like it as much.  Not sure if I got a bad batch or what.  But now I only buy the full size (not the larger one in the tube).  Although the pump on the full size is ******.  I live with it.  Over and over because I can't be without it.  LOL

Thanks for sharing and I agree-- hard to say what's a HG over a current fave.

Re: Let's Name Our Holy Grails (Again)

Hi @Dazlin

Never tried the sponges dry.  Although, back in the day when the only sponges were those triangle latex kind, I don't know that anyone used them wet.  The only thing about using it dry, do you think they soak up more product?

As an experiment, I cut open a beauty blender before I threw it away to see how far the foundation went through.  And to my surprise, it was only on the surface or very finely below it.  That was after using it for a long time and deciding it was time to pitch it in the trash.  I only used it wet.

Thanks for your input!

Re: Let's Name Our Holy Grails (Again)

Hi @gertrudecloset I use a both the Cerave products, too.  Love them.

And the Benefit Gimme Brow-- that whole line is the very best for me, too.  I really like the clear gel.

I need to try the MAC prep and prime lip. Do you like that because it gives staying power to your lipstick/gloss?  Or for the skin care benefits?   Have you tried the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask?  Do they compare?

Hi @Shanus

I like Eco Tools.  The sets are nice.  I have not tried the sponges.  Good to know!

Thanks!

Re: Let's Name Our Holy Grails (Again)

Hi @wagirl

I met PTR years ago at QVC!  Very briefly and before he started working out.  LOL

I have used that avocado eye cream.  I think I even have recommended it here.

I love the Kenra brand.  I have used many of the products.  The mousse is great.  As is holding hair spray #25

I am with you on the Bisque!  That stuff allows me to skip foundation!  How do you use the Well Rested.  I just recently bought that.  Do you put it on your lids or under eye or corners or all of the above?

Thanks for sharing!!

PS & BTW-- also way more skin care on this end, too.  I purged a ton of unwanted/old make up.  I have been wearing less make up over the pandemic and now I am way more into skin care and being more au de naturale.

Re: Let's Name Our Holy Grails (Again)

Hi @Steffdoggy10

I have not heard of carepost lash growth.  Have you tried Grande lash?  is carepost worth switching?  I have had good results with the Grande Lash, but when I run out, I am open to trying something new.

Do you know if there are any concerns of changing the iris color?  I know that sounds nuts, if you have not heard that before... but I won't use Lattisse because I heard it can damage blue eyes.  By damage, I mean cause brown spots.
