Re: Leave in spray hair conditioner

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer.  It has heat and UV protection.  I need the UV protection because my color gets fried and bleaches out when I'm out in the sun.

@goldensrbest   I have a mister bottle from Amazon. I mix a bit of my regular conditioner w/ bottled water  and shake each time I use it. I know what I'm getting since it agrees with my hair in the shower. I also don't rinse out all my conditioner after application.

@Shanus Be careful about using your rinse-out conditioner as a leave-in.  If it has protein in it, it should be rinsed out.  If the protein dries in your hair it can cause breakage.

@Icegoddess , I had been using more and more of Olaplex #6 Bond Smoother thinking it would help. My hairdresser told me I was getting too much protein in my hair with it and to ease off. I did, in mid-summer, and boy did it make a difference. This was one of my favorite products but I guess too much of a good thing isn't always good.

I found 2....would you mind sharing which you use?

BLACK VANILLA MOISTURE & SHINE HAIR SHEEN

OR

BLACK VANILLA MOISTURE & SHINE LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER

They seem So similar.....

It seems you can't order direct?   It shows Amz, Target or Walgreens?

I have never used anything from Carol's Daughter

TIA very much!!

@RespectLife  It's the leave-in.

I used to order direct, but they must have just started using A and the others. They always had great sales on their own website. Who knows if we'll get that advantage again.

Re: Leave in spray hair conditioner

I use this one. It's mainly for detangling but it also gives weightless conditioning. Smells heavenly. I buy it from CD's website when it goes on sale, usually 40% off during the F&F event.

Hi @goldensrbest   Woman Happy

Great topic.

It took me a LONGGG time to figure out this Combination that has served me well.

1)  Pantene  2-in-1  "Repair. & Protect"

2)  Johnson's "No More Tangles" (Spray or Tube)

      (Maybe super quick rinse)

3)  Carol's Daughter  "Hair Milk"  "Leave In Conditioner"  (maybe  1/2 - 1 tsp)

(not always easy to find.  Sometimes I have to visit several Drug Stores.  (Important enough, Im also stocked up)  *w*

Good luck!

Re: Leave in spray hair conditioner

So, I buy Leave-ins the way some people buy eyeshadow palettes.  But, I do use them all, interchanging them randomly.  I'm always up for trying a new one, although I'm particular about the ingredients.

Innersense Sweet Spirit - A lightweight detangling spray to replenish moisture

Giovanni Direct Leave-In Weightless Moisture Conditioner - Natural botanicals moisturize and detangle hair while infusing weightless body for easy styling. - This is not a spray.  Used this today.

Giovanni Vitapro Fusion Protective moisture Leave-In Hair Treatment - A unique protein-rich formula that delivers essential elements to each tress to help protect hair from styling damage while providing moisture to dry hair.

Texture ID Intense Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner - Promotes Moisture & Softness.  I get this as Sally's.  It's quite popular among the curly hair community and became very hard to get during Covid.  I'm currently saving it for fall/winter as it's a little heavier.

Anybody see a trend?  Moisture.  I alwyas feel like I need more moisture.  I use other products for damage control.

@Carolina925 Not a leave-in, but you might look at Ouidad Curl Shaper Memory Maker (3-in-1 Revitalizing Milk).  I use it kinda like a primer.  I can't really say what it does, but I like it if that makes sense.  Of course, if you're looking to be straight, it might not be for you although I don't really feel like it curls.  There's no protein in it.
