Lead in Lipsticks

Since hearing and reading the news yesterday that 400 lipsticks on the market contain some lead in them, I wonder which brands at QVC contain zero to little lead. Since I lick my lipsick off all day and keep replacing it, I am a little concerned. I wonder why the lead is there in the first place. Price doesn't seem to matter; some of the higher priced lipsticks have the most lead while some of the least expensive brands have less. Does anyone have any real information on this?
