I read the post  " Press patting"

CoG mentioned Lauren Hutton.  ( thank you for bringinh her upSmiley Happy )

" I miss her global mind set and the wonderful passport portfolios in a whole rainbow of shades with everything you need in one set?  I miss her treasured finds like tamanu oil...."

I'm with you on that!!! I adored Lauren and her products.

I still have a few of her products, and I still use the first set of her brushes she offered. The best brushes I've bought! I love the wooded ones and the roll pouch.

AquaElements line,- hyalauronic, hematite, malachite, etc., worked great for my skin.

Passports-Africa, Brazil, South Pacific -   pink and yellow shades in one passport, creams and powders, nothing better!

Base & Color Elements block compacts,- concealers, powders, foundation, shadows.

Mineral foundation and cream compact foundation- lovely.

Discs, including the color Discs- wonderful with VHS/DVD, great info and applications by Lauren.

Rectangle trios- with blushes, shadows, lip blam- fit right into a small purse of pant pocket, car, etc.

Speaking of her Lip Balm- FABULOUS,  clear and tinted

Tamanu Oil and the Tamanu Massage Soap, can't be beat.

Avocado Oil, loved it.

AquaPress, used it, loved it, with or without sponge.

She was a wealth of information and loved her attitude.

Her pics from her travels and the roads to her home,- the truck in field,  especially the blue, shadowy horizon, the sea , were tranquil.

Wish she was on tv somewhere.

Cat Very Happy

@skittles2  Yes some of us, even me have been talking about patting in.  So if the stunningly classical beauty Ms Hutton does it, I'm in for sure!

She is one of my ALL TIME favs.

Re: Lauren Hutton

[ Edited ]

When I 1st tried her AquaPress with sponge, I thought 'what the heck?' I was dripping all over myself, floor, walls, hair, LOL.  It took me a few days and a bigger bowl to finally get the knack of it. Then the big day arrived when I could do it without the bowl, YAY graduation! ( I became quite skilled at applying the products directly onto sponge- which worked better for me) Cat LOL

Yes,  I brought up Lauren Hutton and CoG was kind enough to add the name of her system, which escaped me.  I tried it back then and didn't stay with it, as I didn't see any of the benefit. Possibly I didn't give it enough time or what I was pressing was just not working for me.  I definitely think it's worth another try.   SHe was so ahead of her time on so many things.  I first bought her Tamanu Oil, which was amazing.  Sadly, she doesn't sell it any longer, so I purchase elsewhere,  but always have it in the house to help heal burns or lighten scars.  I'd like to see her back as well.  She had some interesting things and they were always well priced.
