These are creamy shadow sticks and most brands are budge proof and/or waterproof. I apply one eye at a time (some dry down quickly) and blend with my finger since the warmth of my finger helps it blend into the lid. 

The lighter shades are great as a lid shade and the darker ones can be used as liner by applying with a brush rubbed on the stick.

I saw the trio online and I have 2 of those shades. I used Cobblestone on Saturday across my lids & used an UD Zero pencil as a liner. The LM Cocoa went into my crease. It was a nice look.

I think they are too thick to apply as an eyeliner, a pencil works better IMO.
