I like some of Laura's products and I know she used to be on the Q. I wish however the Q would have brought in a different beauty line, like maybe Fenty, or Charlotte Tilbury, or Natasha Denona, or even the new Lady Gaga line....I wanted to see someone new. Don;t get me wrong Laura Mercier has nice products, but I am just not that excited about it.

What line would you want to see QVC bring?

Re: Laura Mercier Cosmetics!

This may be totally bad information, but wasn't she on HSN?  I remember a set of pieces, maybe in a book form, that ran around $150.00?  Way too expensive if you consider the fact that you might not like all the colors she picked.

Re: Laura Mercier Cosmetics!

@CANDLEQUEEN   Laura Mercier was on a long time ago and I guess her products didn't sell well enough for Q. I'm not surer the brands you mentioned need anymore sales they'd get from being on QVC. They're doing well in stores and online sites.

I'd like to see Trish McEvoy come back...even though used to be on HSN only. She is a good makeup artist and teacher. It seems the only "kids on the block" now are Philosophy, Tarte, Mally and Laura G. Gets tiresome and boring, right?

Also MAC is not on and what happened to all the makeup/skincare online that we never see presented?

Re: Laura Mercier Cosmetics!

QVC used to have nice selections of make up now its' all skin care

most of the lines you can buy at Sephora or your favorite dept store and get free shipping or points of some kind

The newer lines go straight to consumers via social

so prob not so profitable for QVC

I don't usually watch HSN, so think it was maybe QVC. It doesn't really matter since she is long gone. There's another issue where department stores, Sephora, her site doesn't need a shopping channel.

Re: Laura Mercier Cosmetics!

It may be an issue of keeping the supply of all shades of all products in so many places, too. I'm still concerned that Q has Bobbi Brown products that have been discontinued for awhile. How fresh can they be?

@Shanus Yes, I really liked Trish and her line, it was pricey but HSN offered nice bundles......She was a treacher also which made it nice and interesting! Laura may be a "teacher" as well, I can't remember too much about her past shows on QVC.. Trish had a beautiful perfume that I loved as well.....Did HSN drop her?

@CANDLEQUEEN   I'm not sure who dropped who, but I have both her #9 perfume and the Sexy 9.

Yes that was Trish McEvoy who had a planner which was a good deal because she really included everything you can need and sometimes threw in brushes or a sample of her perfume.

Re: Laura Mercier Cosmetics!

i wish we could go back to the days of Smashbox and Holly demonstrating. I loved their products and they had great (inexpensive) TSVs.

I wish they would revisit MAC products. Great demonstrators and their products aren't everywhere.

I'm curious about Laura Mercier, as i don't know much about her. I thought her co. was bought by Amway, yrs ago.
