I think she seems like a nice person. I haven't watched a show in years though and stopped buying her products because they usually have a brownish undertone to them that doesn't look nice on my fair skin. I wish her products worked for me! Didn't I read/hear she sold her company?

Takes you back to the early years of the Q when they actually taught you how to apply product and demonstrated on models who didn't already have on all the makeup.  I wish vendors did more instruction on application....nice to learn new techniques.

I always enjoy watching her demos.  She gives such good tips and seems like she would be a fun person to have as a friend.  However, most of her products haven't worked for me.

I too love Laura Geller, she is down to earth and she knows the business....not hired by someone to sell a product.  I have been using her products  ever since the days she had a make up bag that was a taxi....they are the best on the market and their pricing is proper.  Even both of my granddaughters use her products.....that is all they use.  Thank heavens for Ulta because they too sell Laura Geller - especially when you want to save on shipping!!!!!!!!!

@ValentinaBon  She did sell her company..........

NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Glansaol, a new prestige beauty and personal care company, announced today that it has signed agreements to acquire three brands – Laura Geller, Julep and Clark's Botanicals.

Glansaol was founded through a partnership between Alan T. Ennis, a beauty industry veteran and former President and Chief Executive Officer of Revlon Inc., and Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm focused on growth investing. The acquisition of Laura Geller is closed. Julep and Clark's Botanicals are expected to close shortly. Terms were not disclosed.

Glansaol hand-selected Laura Geller, Julep and Clark's Botanicals to be its first acquisitions because of their inspirational founders, high quality products and unique position within the marketplace.

"The idea that Glansaol means "pure life" really resonated with me.  Together, we will create something better, bigger, and stronger.  I am greatly looking forward to the next phase of growth for the business," said Laura Geller, Founder of Laura Geller.

Rich Gersten, Partner at Tengram Capital, who acquired a majority stake in the Laura Geller brand in 2012, stated, "It has been an absolute pleasure working with the Laura Geller team over the last four years. I am confident that Glansaol is the right partner to take this great brand to the next level."

@lmt interesting thank you. Well maybe now the line might expand to have less brown undetones in virtually everything. If that were to happen, I may be persuaded to try something again!

i see that BnB has Talc as the first or second ingredient (depending on which shade.)  i wonder if her products contained Talc before she sold to Glansaol.

@sznk yes it did. I do know that for sure because I tried it way back when and it did.
