For those of you who have been helping me with LG, I have another question. What is the difference between the baked elements and balance and brighten? I picked up LG B&B in fair at Ulta. I wore it yesterday and liked it. I think the color is good. I have large pores, and even with primer, I felt they showed a "normal" amount. Would the baked elements foundation address that concern better or are they going to show the same amount with either foundation? I also have read that whatever color you use in B&B, that the same color in the baked elements will not be the same. All insight and advice is welcome!

Have not tried baked elements yet and there are several who switched and loved it and others who go back and are in love with b&b. At one point I wil try the baked when it is on sale on LG's site. Make sure you are not heavy handed with your b&b. I do not use spackel as it is has silcone like baked element does. I have to be careful with creams on my skin as they make it heavy and seem to make it drag down.
I used Isomers serums or mask as it seems to make the pores dissapear and is a healthy makeup base and are super light on the skin.

Balance ‘n’ Brighten was no friend, it exaggeratedly every flaw. I never want to be without Baked Elements.

I got the Baked Elements from her website when she had a sale. I think it provides better coverage than Balance and Brighten. I would use either one.

I tried B&B years ago and it just didn’t work for me. It seemed muddy. This year I ordered the kit with Baked Elsments, hydrating spackle & brush. The Baked Elements is far better. Spackle really smoothes & hydrates too, which makes a nice canvas for a powder foundation. The brush makes application easy. Whenever I pass a mirror, I can’t help but notice how great this foundation looks. I highly recommend this kit.

@jayn, if I take a fair in the B&B, will I take a fair in the baked elements? And do you think this covers better/settles less than the B&B? I have large pores and some lines and don't want to make them look worse.

I use light across the board for Laura Geller products. I have found the most important thing is how my face is prepped before I put on foundation. I use a serum, moisturizer, then spackle. I give each a few minutes to absorb before applying the next product. I don’t use a heavy hand when applying cosmetics because I don’t want the excess to settle in any lines I may have. Where I need more coverage, using the brush I tap foundation over those areas, then buff well. I then apply foundation to the rest of my face and buff away. If you find powder foundation not forgiving enough for your skin, you may also consider trying CC cream for your foundation followed by a dusting of power foundation. I use IT CC cream followed by Celebration foundation (matte). I switch between LG and IT.
