Laura Geller TSV - opinions please

I recently ordered her TSV - it's a nice kit but I was wondering if anyone thinks that it seems to look a little cakey? I've got a cold and my skin is a little drier than usual so perhaps that is why it isn't looking so well. Also, the mascara doesn't go on very well and doesn't really do anything for my eyelashes. I'm not picky about mascara most anything

works for me but this one doesn't really lengthen or volumize. I do like the eyeshadow - it's pretty and easy. I'm on the fence about whether to keep it or not.
