Laura Geller Collab with wheel of fortune

I posted about this yesterday, but as far as I can see that post has disappeared!  Anyway, thought some would be interested that per an email from laura's website she has a makeup collaboration with wheel of fortune and vanna white.  Check Laura's website or google for details and to see the game show looking options they have for sale!

Re: Laura Geller Collab with wheel of fortune

@moonandthestars - I DVR'd her show. She mentioned this. She also said the "dreaded" Sephora and Ulta- by name! It was refreshing to hear actual names instead of "the store with a door," or "the happiest place on Earth"!

I know there are reasons why hosts and vendors aren't supposed to say names, but some seem to do it anyway!  Smiley Wink

Re: Laura Geller Collab with wheel of fortune

@beach-mom I didn't have a chance to see any of her shows and didn't know if Laura would mention it considering they are not selling it on the q - for now anyway.   Good that she mentioned it - and the store names where it will be selling the collection.  I do find that surprising!  The collection is very colorful and resembles a game show!  Definitely worth looking at.

Why "dreaded" Sephora and Ulta?

@snipsnapsnur - Sorry! I'm really having an off day! I didn't mean "dreaded" - I meant in the way vendors and hosts on QVC are not supposed to say the actual names of stores. I was being sarcastic, and I didn't explain that very well. Both of those stores are favorites of mine.

I've noticed Laura has her own commercials here, not mentioning QVC.

Yes I watch Wheel nightly and her product was on the wheel.  I just hope that all this business expansion does not change her quality and price.  She is one of the best IMO.

@beach-mom  there was nothing wrong with what you said or how you said it!  No need to apologize for your phrasing  (Very polite tho, which is nice) I knew exactly what you were saying and I'm pretty sure almost everyone did too.

Laura's products are advertised all over now. She partners in some way with several celebrities.   The wheel of fortune collaboration is kind of funny and kind of fun.  Not for me and def. Not my colors.  But probably a good gift for someone or for a collector of makeup or a true wheel of fortune fan.

I really like Laura, but I have to say in a way I'm very surprised at the brand's overall longstanding popularity. The ingredients aren't great.  The baked items can be hit or miss depending on which mix of colors you get in your pan.

I decided to try b and b again (in my seemingly never ending search for a foundation my skin likes and that looks good on me) From her website I first ordered the golden med and the med. and they were both way too dark for me, which is very odd since I am always a medium or a little darker.  So I reordered with the light and I think it's good, but there was fallout everywhere when I put my brush to the compact.  Powdery mess!

Does she succeed mostly based on her personality?

She used to have a couple of mini liquid eyeliners which I absolutely loved.  The best was a brown and an eggplant color.  Both are long discontinued.

If someone does order the wheel of fortune kit / items, please post how you like them in person
