Since I've retired, I don't wear m/u every day. Continue my skin care regime, though.
I bought the Clinique High Impact mascara when Nordies had the buy 3 get 1 free. Am very pleased with it.
Here's the problem: I curl my lashes with my fave Shiseido e/l curler and then apply a thin coat of mascara. My lashes droop immediately. I wait for them to dry, as recommended, and apply the second coat pushing up on my lashes and holding for a sec or two to try to get them back to the curled position - no go.
Ulta carries a battery operated heated eyelash curler that I use when I have the patience. The wand comes apart easily and the battery doesn't make contact, so I have to hold both parts together with my thumb at the top and this is an awkward position for my free hand. So many times I just bypass this step.
Anyone have any suggestions? I prefer not to wear waterproof mascara. My lashes are thin and few so I'm trying to salvage what I have.
