Is anyone using a lash serum that they feel is really helping with the length and or volume of their lashes? Something that doesn't have postaglandins as an ingredimt. Mine are so puny anymore. Thank  you.

Re: Lash serum suggestions

[ Edited ]

I use the one from Isomers exclusively, no harmful ingredients.  I also like it since it can be used on brows too. also, it comes with a doe foot applicator so it can be applied on the lash root line as well as directly on the lashes, I do both.

Many of the forum member were using one by Vie Beaute, but then the ingredients were changed and it became ineffective.  SillieMee found one called SILKIENCE and recommended it as a replacement.  I've been using it for a couple of months and I can't say I've had loads of success.  I'm thinking about trying hexane free castor oil.

I did try applying castor oil before going to bed, but the oil goes into the eyes and my vision was blurry in the morning, so I had to stop.  No pain, just blurriness that took time to go away, even after several applications of non-medicinal eye drops.

Thanks for that input, @NYCLatinaMe   I ordered some and will try it, but with caution. 🤞

Ask your opthalmologist for a recommendation that is safe.

@KCDiva  I use the Ardell Brow and Lash Growth Accellerator- it works so well for lash and brow growth and it doesn't contain any of the chemicals that would change a person's eye color.  Its $14 for a set of 3 on Amazon.  This is my go to product for thick and bold brows and nice lashes. I've used it for years and years.  Its affordable and works really well. 🙂 Sillimee looked over the ingredients when I recommended it on here a while back and she said that its a safe product 😊💯.

@JeanLouiseFinch I had the same experience with castor oil as @NYCLatinaMe .  I stuck it out for a while but didn't see any growth over a period of months.  Plus had blurry eyes that whole time.  lol  But it must work for some people, because I've read reviews where people swear by it.

I had to give up GrandeLash because it was irritating my eyelids after using it for years and years.  After VieBeauti quit working for me, I went back to GrandeLash thinking maybe I could use it again, but nope!  Irritation within days.  I miss my longer lashes!

I tried The Ordinary lash serum. I didn't realize how small the tube is, plus you have to use it twice a day.  So the less expensive cost is really not, since a person runs out of quickly.  It did nothing for my eyelashes either.  Boo!

So I have continued to use GrandeLash on my brows, because at least it works for them.  My hairdresser gets it for me at her cost ($45), so I am blessed there, but how I wish I could still use it on my lashes!

Thanks for this, @Ainhisg.  My castor oil w/brush will be here today, so I'll give it a shot.  If it's a bad experience, I'll try the Ardell.

Yes, the Vie Beaute didn't work at all for me either!
