I received the Lancome TSV and was so disappointed. I ordered the kit especially for the eyeshadow pallet hoping that I could discover some new techniques. The gentleman who did all of the makeup that day did such an amazing job and the models eyes were gorgeous. Guess what, no illustrations or descriptions of how to apply were in my kit. I know it sounds a little complaining to say that this is a deal breaker for me. I need help with this pallet. The colors are gorgeous, lipstick is a pretty shade of pinky/coral and looked forward to trying out the mascara. Anyone else have the same reaction or help for me?

I am still waiting on mine. I taped the Lancôme show when they were showing how to use the eye shadow. I knew I would never remember how to use it if I didn't. I didn't expect there to be directions though.

Robert gives such great tips, it would have been nice to include a card with some of his amazing tips. I didn't purchase it, but I did see one of the shows!!!!!

I love mine!! I've just always used the lighter colors as lid/all over and darker in countour/liner. I did notice this eye set is available as an individual purchase on hsn's site and has a tutorial video w/ it - maybe that will help?!

Well, I did LOL. I got a kit from YBF (Stacie) and she included a card with step-by-step instructions for the make-up. It was great. I didn't tape the show but maybe I can find it. Thanks.

Yes, he did, didn't he. That is why I bought the kit and that is why I was disappointed when I received it.

Thanks for that information. I will look there before I decide to send back. I could use it like I would normally, but Robert really did show some amazing tips. Great salesman!!!

Check this product at the HSN website for video demos, also check Lancome's site for lots of helpful videos that you can pause, replay, etc. I find these tutorials online to be fun to watch and they always give me tips and ideas.

Got my kit Saturday and used it today, looks absolutely lovely. I used the cool side of the eyeshadows and they are perfect, go on like velvet.

My only complaint is I did think all the shadows were matte, and the light ecru one is shimmery. But, it's not sparkly, so will be ok, although I was looking forward to this color in a matte formulation. Liked the free shipping and the flex pays too.

I did use Robert's tips about how to apply eyeliner, and where to place the shades, and it turned out great, although I used a much lighter hand than he did on tv for a day look. This would amp up beautifully for nighttime.

The mascara is the one I currently am using as is Genefique, and the new lipstick is very light and pretty, lasted well on me without fading or migrating. Terrific beauty TS!

I sent HSN an email asking about the instructions. Here is their prompt reply:

We always want our customers to be able to utilize all there orders so I can definitely understand your concern.

It has been notated of your possible reason for return in your account. In regards to your recent order of the Lancome French Nude 4 piece collection, it appears that there should have been a small piece of paper on how to turn your look from day to night but that would be the only instruction included. However, you can go to hsn.com and type in the item number 410-545 and view the video of how it was applied for a better understanding of how to use the product.

At HSN we never want our customers to keep items they are not satisfied with so you may return the item, please note that we ask that you only purchase items if you sincerely intend to keep the product.
