I purchased the kit as well and I have noticed a difference in my skin after 2 days!  I did not expect it but my skin looks brighter, smoother and more even.  I am pleasantly surprised.  I use a lot of SSC products so I like that I can use this serum under my favorite moisturizer.

A few years back, HSN and Lancome were doing a 7 day challenge with Genefique and gave away 7 packettes of this serum when you purchased something. 

 

All it did for me was give my huge cystic type acne on my chin that was extremely painful. This was on day 2 so the other 5 samples went in the trash.  I personally also found it too fragranced, like most Lancome skincare.
