Seems like everytime I do a Q Check either the Philosophy lady is on or Josie is greasing herself down.  HSN is just as bad with Lacome and others.  Then there's the Skinn guy at Evine who does a marathon every other week, with other assorted vendors filling in when he's off.

Yep, we sure have a shortage of cosmetic shows.  NOT!

I think it's because a lot of people don't want to buy cosmetics and skin care in the summer when it's hot outside because you're taking a chance with them getting spoiled during shipment and delivery...like parcels sitting in a hot delivery truck or parcels sitting in the sun on a porch.

For  beauty junkies we can never get enough of beauty shows. Lol! HSN the past few years has had a day of beauty right around the beginning of July but I don't see anything listed this year. Maybe one of them could devote Sundays to be a day of beauty just like the other channels do with sports.

HSN has a weekly 2 hr show on Thurs evenings and I've seen lots of It cosmetics or JM here.  Evine has several very good lines including Emma Harding.  I agree that summer is a bad time to ship beauty products, but there are plenty of shows out there.

Maybe people don't wear as much makeup in the summer?  I know I don't.  Also maybe the higher temps has something to do with shipping this time of the year.  Lipstick espcially and maybe liquid or cream foundations and skin care products.  Could be higher temps has an effect on product stability.  I grasping at straws here because I haven't noticed a decline in beauty shows.

Tune in on Thursday Night (7pm or 8pm I think) on HSN for their weekly beauty report. Just like Q has Tues and Fri night beauty HSN has same diff days. Skinn is coming to Evine in July too. Isomers had their TSV last weekend. Lancome had a TSV just last week on HSN!No shortage of Beauty TSV's really in last month Also can look online for specials.
