Does anyone know why there is such a lack of beauty shows on QVC & HSN scheduled for this Summer? Is it like that every Summer? I'm fairly new to the home shopping networks, having only started to watch last Fall. I primarily watch for the beauty presentations though, so I'm a bit disappointed that there aren't more beauty shows scheduled for this Summer, at least thus far. HSN has come right out and said Serious Skincare, Lancôme, Beauty BioScience and Trish McEvoy won't be back on air till September. Wei won't be back till next year. That's just naming a few. What's up with no beauty over the Summer? I find it odd.

Probably because no QVC or HSN beauty manufacturers can come up w/makeup that looks good when you sweat at temps above 85 degrees.

I don't find there's a lack of beauty. I personally like shows like the find where there might be wen, a make up, a shirt and an electronic. I like variety.

I used to notice this, also.  But that was when they really started getting into beauty shows and they actually had trouble filling one entire hour a week.  Way back in the Patti Reilley days.  They dropped the show completely in the summer.  I think this dry spell will last only for July and August.  I suggest you also add Evine to your schedule if your TV provider carries it.  They also have some good lines, Skinn and Isomers are the top two.

I'm just guessing but maybe they do not like to ship makeup in the heat.

@depglass I do watch Evine as well, and I love Skinn Cosmetics. Skinn Cosmetics has anniversary shows scheduled for a few days in July around July 11th. I'm looking forward to them. :-)

@MommaNJ629 I like a variety as well, but I'm a beauty junkie, and I prefer the beauty presentations over all else. Beauty is the reason I tune into QVC, HSN and Evine. If they didn't offer skincare and make-up, I wouldn't tune in. Just my preferences and just my opinion, but there is definitely a lack of beauty scheduled for the Summer starting this week. Although, Prai will be monopolizing HSN on Friday this week (or is it Saturday?..,not sure).

QVC has a newer All-Beauty channel called Beauty iQ and you can only view it online,  but it is Beauty all day long!  They are previously recorded presentations and interviews, etc.  It's definitely good for background noise.  There was a thread or two about it not too long ago,  if you want to read about it or comment on it since Q personnel started one thread asking what we thought about it.
