She probably has a nice offer from some other company. QVC has been a big money maker for her over the past few years but I'm sure she has had offers from other companies. I'm sure doing something different will feel great after so many years of doing the same thing.

I haven't been a Q watcher for quite a while but I did noticed the small facebook announcement about this.

When hosts are there for a VERY long time..... it just changes EVERYTHING when they leave - just NOT the same for a VERY long time

Lisa has done everything on Q and more..... I mean gosh she was even on Talk shows and interviewed by news....... traveled to Italy MANY MANY times (it was her show) she then had her OWN GLI show - even the summer show in the Hamptons I say was hers........ and the Red Carpet AGAIN her show

She is the highest paid at QVC I think anyway AND hair & makeup done, FREE trips, FREE stuff, designer gowns made - WHO could want for more

she is NOT leaving QVC without something waiting to start - already a deal - RIGHT AFTER the Holiday

I think she's leaving on 12/12 - will relax, take time for herself, go thru Christmas & New Years AND WILL BE starting her NEW thing on 1/12 there about

She has DEFINATLY made a name for herself AND has A LOT of contacts

Maybe a Talk Show, Line of Clothes, MAYBE a show like Joan's show, Maybe a Red Carpet type interview person......

I don't think she's leaving because someone posted a bad post about lip liner the week Joan passed & then Joan passed.............. that is crazy to think - she has taken alot of people SMASHING her over the years, talking bad and saying not so nice things about her........

I think she is bored doing the SAME thing everyday / ALL year. pretty much she is SCHEDULED for the SAME events EVERY year nothing changes.......

AND - I was ALWAYS curious about THIS - has ANY ever heard her speak of a Boyfriend - EVER engaged ???

Lisa is a very good salesperson, and most likely she will remain in a sales job somewhere else. No big deal really. Good luck to her. I can't believe the comments about plummeting sales because of her departure. Good grief. No way do I shop anywhere because of the salesperson, unless they are so awful they can't even explain the details of a product, which I haven't seen as an issue on QVC.

I don't think it's going to really affect QVC's bottom line that much. Hosts come and go. However, my biggest fear is that they will now let Courtney host PM Style!

Ellen is going to be appearing on QVC with a home decor line. That's all. I have no idea what Ellen's appearance on QVC would have to do with Lisa.

I'm sorry, but this comment about Ellen being the reason Lisa is leaving is the most laughable, far-out, pathetic, pea- brained thing that anyone has said so far. If it wasn't the very most ridiculous thing anyone could come up with, I wouldn't be laughing so hard my sides wouldn't be splitting ! I think this is an award-winning excuse!

I, selfishly, would love for Lisa to stay, but I think she's making the "right" decision. She could be successful doing so many different things - I'm happy for her. I haven't been someone to watch a lot of her QVC shows, but I always loved the presentations I would catch with Lisa hosting. I think I took for granted that she would always be at QVC. I'll miss her, but wish her all the best. I have no doubt she'll find the perfect outlet/opportunity, if she doesn't already have something in the works.
