L'Erbolario moisturizer....has anyone ever used this?

I had bought a moisturizer from them called "Risposta" while I was in Italy and I swear it was the best one that I have ever used in my life. I can't find it here in the States. Has anyone ever used it and if so, have you ever found another brand that was similar to it? I use Clinique Youth Surge along with the Moisture Surge gel right now but I would absolutely leave them both in a second if Risposta was available. Thanks in advance for any responses.

What are the ingredients? Is it fragrance-free?

Montana - I tried looking for the ingredients and I can't find them, I'm so sorry. I think it was a plant based moisturizer but I had bought it on a whim never really thinking that I would love it as much as I did so I didn't keep the packaging. The guy at the store spoke Italian and I don't so I don't know if it had a fragrance. If it did, it was very, very light. He had indicated it was great for sensitive skin (and my face was totally breaking out at that time) so I thought why not try it? I generally make it a rule to never put any kind of fragranced product on my face but my skin just loved this. If I ever come across it again, I will be all over it!

I also looked for ingredients the other night. Could not find any. Admittedly, I did not go nuts searching. Way too pricey without knowing the ingredient deck for me.

Re: L'Erbolario moisturizer....has anyone ever used this?

I know a place in Cape May NJ, the Italian Garden, that sells the L'Erbolario line. I don't know exactly what skincare products they sell since I was in the store to purchase perfume. You can call (609) 884-2300 and ask if they have what you want and if they'll do a mail order (I bet they would). The few times I've been in the store, the people have been very helpful and nice. They don't have a website but here's a little more information about them.

Telephone: (609) 884-2300
Address: 510 carpenter’s lane
Cape May, NJ 08204
The products are beautifully arranged and the aromas are heavenly; the owner is charming and so helpful and friendly–makes you want to spend all day there and empty your wallet.

Where Is It? On Carpenter’s Lane behind the mall.

Why Should I Go? If you love Italy, if you love Italian products, if you love unique fragrances and luxurious skin care, and most importantly, if you want to look beautiful, then you must visit Italian Garden and experience L’Erbolario. L’Erbolario is a line of botanical perfumes brimming with neroli, ambraliquida, citrus, myrhh, tarragon, iris, and cedar; soothing hand and body treatments with olive and argan oils; and restorative facial care enriched with aloe, royal jelly, calendula, chamomile, and flower pollen.

Italian men take their grooming as seriously as women, and so does the Italian Garden. Extracts derived from vetiver, myrtle, bark and fern add a fresh, crisp scent to fragrances, shaving creams and “dopobarba” — so appealing! And les bambini need safe and gentle products for soft skin and hair — find them in the children’s garden.

Insider Tip: Bronzo Sensuale is the best botanical sunscreen you’ll find. Stop by Italian Garden to chat, munch on Eloise’s homemade biscotti and take some free samples home with you.

STORE HIGHLIGHTS

L’Erbolario

These amazing products are world-renowned and hard to find — thank goodness for Italian Garden, which has a full collection of fragrances and body care products of the L’Erbolario beauty line.

They sell a long list of these products on Amazon. Interesting that some of the face things favor argan oil.

Harpa - I am going to have to check out Amazon too, thanks for the tip. I never really took note of argan oil until I saw Josie Maran's products being presented a while ago and now it seems like I see it everywhere! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

sugarina, Riposta is also sold at cybercucina.com. No ingredients though. The site looks like a kind of general store. It has an 800 number.

Montana - thank you, I will be sure to check them out too....I've never heard of that website. Wow, I thought there was no way to get it here and now admittedly I feel just kind of foolish for my lack of research skills given the wonderful suggestions in a short amount of time {#emotions_dlg.blushing} All I can say is thank goodness for the fabulously smart ladies in the beauty forum!!

Again, thank you!
