Having product shortages isn't necessarily from too may orders but from a failure to promptly pay the lab that makes the cosmetic line.  Companies like to get paid. Renege on a payment and you certainly will not be their number one priority on the assembly line.

As far as demographics are concerned, I don't know why so many think that the Q's customers are of a certain age. The QVC Addicts and QVC Beauty Facebook Addicts has ladies of all ages. A good number of them appear to be in the 30-40 + range. I'm not interested in the line but I'm sure it would do well especially with the IQ channel.
