Now I know why I was seeing vitacost products at Kroger's this week.

Kroger, in my area, has become rather expensive since they started selling gasoline. I prefer Target for variety, and WinCo (employee owned) for larger discount shopping.

We don't have Krogers anywhere around here where I live. I like buying from Vitacost, though. I sure hope the merger doesn't increase their prices.

I love my Kroger here in Dallas. Get tons of 'free item' coupons in the mail...not cents-off, but free fruit, produce...stuff that not normally doesn't have a coupon. I'm sure other stores have this, yes?

My initial comment on this merger would be "oh no". I LOVE Vitacost.com but I'm not so fond of Kroger's. Wonder what this means for Vitacost and their fabulous prices & s/h.
I shop online for Vitacost items, we have many Kroger stores here. In fact one in particular has gotten into buying/selling clothes for kids and adults. I hadn't been to this store in awhile and pretty much freaked this past winter one day when I did some grocery shopping there. I walked in and saw racks full of all sorts of clothing, cute stuff too.
So I wonder how this merger will work. Will Kroger's sell the same stuff I find at Vitacost? Will Kroger sell at the same LOW prices?
Wonder how AND why this happened.

Wish we had a Krogers here in Maryland. Love the salad dressing assortment and have to stock up when we visit our daughter in Roanoke.

Bonnie, Giant is a Kroger store.

Wow - vitacost products already seen at Kroger's per Ms Katlover58 here notes.
For those of you who have no Kroger's close by, you're not missing much. It's just another big chain grocery store with really high prices pretty much like Giant Eagle groceries.
I'm forced to shop at either/or because my Aldi's doesn't yet sell a few things that I buy/use.

Kroger goes by many names, here in Southern Cal, they are Ralph's , in Arizona they are Fryes. You probably all have Kroger and don't know it.
