What happened to his TSV which was listed in the Insider for October 30?

He just had a show last hour on QVC and presented a 5 piece Vanity Kit Volume 2 A299073, which looks like that it might have been designed for a TSV.

I think he has quite a following in various circles in Hollywood.  I've never personally tried any of his products.  Am I missing something great?

Whenever I see Kristofer Buckle, it reminds me of a cool character from a children's book.

Good to see he's got a decent foundation color selection.  The dark end of the spectrum is the only area often lacking for black women, and Jay Manuel takes pretty good care of that- but still only about 4 shades.  IMO other vendors should do the same.  White women have a huge selection in many brands, where there's only a few, especially with TSV/TS/TTV's on all shopping channels.  I watched a few minutes of the online presentation.

I get so tired of hearing ONE lipstick shade is perfect for every woman... yet once again.  It's simply not true.  However I do kind of like the shade offered.  I'd probably tone it down with a lighter gloss or lipstick on top for practical every day wear. On me it would read as a night-time color, if it's reading true to color at all.  I see it as a mid to deep wine or very deep mauve shade.

I tried 3 of his items....lipstick, blush & warming powder (bronzer-type).

The only thing I liked was the powder. I thought the blush & the lipstick were very low quality cosmetics. I was really surprised at how bad they were.

I'm a huge fan. I bought a lot the very first time he was on QVC, and I've been very happy. I love his foundation. The shade (Light) matches me perfectly, and I like that I can choose to have a light finish. His mascara has become my favorite. I reordered it, but it currently comes with the liner, which I give to DD. His brow set is amazing too. My brows are unusual - taupe shades usually go on too dark for me, but his works. I also like that you can "play" with the two shades. I love his setting spray. I used to swear by Mally's Face Defender, but when the new company took over the forumla seemed to change. So I took a chance with this, and I use it every day. His lipstick colors are great and beautifully pigmented, but they just don't stay on me. They will for a little while. I didn't get his first TSV, because I already had most of the products in it, but I will definitely be looking to try more! Smiley Happy

Thanks for the heads up

@momoftwo2007. I was looking forward to his 2nd TSV. But this kit seems to be priced as such even though it's not a TSV. Wonder what happened?

Regardless, I'm interested. I purchased his first tsv and like his makeup alot. The finish is very nice. I like his lipstick alot too. It is longer lasting without being drying on me. I did not try the eyeliner or mascara from the original kit as I have others I'm using up first. His brow product is very nice too. Although I'm a salt and peppered brunette, the blond shade works nicely for me. It's a little softer and less dramatic than the brunette.

I had ordered his foundation in the Light shade, a perfect match. Now I just have to figure out which one to order with the new colors offered.

Did anyone see his presentation today?  I normally never comment on vendors but there was lipstick on the model's chin and lipstick on her teeth.  I felt a little sorry for her.

I watched an earlier video that was cut off before the lipstick in the new kit was discussed. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The color seemed darkish but it's name, Persimmon, sounds like an orange red that I'd like.

Anybody get a good look at this new shade?

I am watching him put Courtney's make up on now on Beauty IQ He would be the person I would choose if I could have my makeup done by a professional. I also think he is a doll. Although since I am obsessed with brows I would like the Brow Gal to do my brows if she would. She would probably run in horror. My brows are so sparse and too far apart.
