Kristals Cosmetics--Kris Jenner uses it too!

[ Edited ]

Unexpectedly, I found myself walking down one of the main shopping streets near my home.  I was exhauste.  I really didn't have any energy but I was stopped by a women outside a newly opened shop.  She was handing out samples and commented "Your skin looks so good!"  Given my bit of addiction to beauty products I loved hearing that.  She then invited me in to the store which did look amazing!  She had me try all these different products and eventually I blurted out that I needed to a new cleanser and that I wasn't happy with anything I have been trying.....

I ended up trying theirs and walked out with it.  It was $200 and given that I am used to Sisley products that didn't totally crazy but it was still a bit more then even the Sisley cleansers!!

So we'll see.... In the meantime, I am curious if others have tried these products.

They were telling me that they have a store on Rodeo Drive and it's super popular with Kris Jenner!  And looking online just now I see they have store in Aspen as well.

If anyone has tried their stuff, please let me know what you think and I am excited to get ready for bed tonight to give it a try!!

So after 2 uses I am liking the cleanser. Looking at the ingredients I am a bit concerned about the mineral oils in it!! However, no major irritations so far and I am grateful for that. And my skin does seem a bit cleaner!!😊

Never heard of this line.  Sounds like they are going for the money if they want to be on Rodeo Drive and in Aspen.  Sounds like it is out of my league.  I'll stick with Laura Mercier.  Cat Very Happy

It is pricey! And that's coming from someone who is addicted to Sisley!

I kind of regret the purchase at this point although looking in the mirror a few minutes ago I do think it did a good job!!!!!

Day three with the super expensive cleanser!!  I think I may actually like it.

The smell still seems a bit odd but no redness or irritation--which is huge.

I think I may need to clean out all the other cleansers!!

@Swissguy,  My skin is flawless and it's not products but excellent genes.  My mother's skin at 89 was beautiful and her sisters were the same way.  So good luck with your products.  I'll save my money!   Really good genes are 3/4ths of the battle.  Then moisturize and cleanse.  Cat Very Happy

$200 for a facial cleaner that goes down the drain...no thanks!! My Purity and Microdelivery cleansers work very well for me. But I do have to be honest and laugh bc there are those who think people are crazy for buying a $400 Dyson hair dryer, but no one yet is saying someone is "crazy" for spending $200 on a facial cleaner - when at least you should get many years of use out of the hair dryer.

Honestly, I am not judging the $200 cleanser - bc to each his own. Its just funny how ones priorities dictate how much they are willing to spend on things and how they judge others choices on how they spend their $- especially if their choices differ.  Lol

Re: Kristals Cosmetics--Kris Jenner and I both use them!

I am in my mid 60s, the first facial cleanser I bought was purity about 6 years ago, it removes make up well but I thought it was drying. I only thing I ever used was dial or home made soap we made with lard. My skin is very nice, I guess it's good genes. Now I do use a variety of cleansers if I have them but see no difference between Beekman soap or a special cleanser.

My cleanser is from the Alpha skincare line (Ulta), PH balanced and really does a great job of taking off makeup (nothing on my toner pads after cleansing) and is $7.99.  It is your business if you want to pay $200 for a cleanser, but maybe you might want to at least try something else?
