Korres Pure Greek Olive Cream - HSN

I received a sample of Korres Pure Greek Olive Body Cream in an order I got from HSN yesterday. I've used it on my hands for the past two days, and I'm really impressed with the hydration. I just ordered the 6-piece set from HSN in different scents. They're not large - only 1.35 oz per tube, but that's still over 8 oz total for $19.50 (free shipping), I don't consider that to be terribly expensive considering how well it works. It doesn't take much - just a small amount. I particularly want to use this not only on my hands, but also my thighs (it's an age thing!). Just wanted to give a heads-up on this great body cream....my hands look so much more hydrated....it's non-greasy and it lasts.

Glad that you like the Korres products.  I haven't tried the olive oil version but I've used Korres Body Butters in many different scents for a long, long time.  They are pure and rich and really work.  They're a bit thick so you have to do a... dot, dot, dot on an arm or leg and then massage in.  You don't need a lot.

I like Korres so much I've never been tempted to even try J Maran or philosophy.

Korres is the best, the Olive line is awesome.  I literally hoard their products when they have a great price.  The shower gels are the best, you will never have dry skin after using.

I have been so tempted by this line.  Good to know it is a good one.  I may jump and try it at some point.

The body cream, hand cream, hand soap, shower gel and oil are all fantastic.  Such a great fragrance, products not heavy or greasy and leave skin so soft.  They're not always available which is annoying. I had to buy a lot of the hand soap at once because it's always out of stock and nobody else really has it.  The oil is great on the ends of your hair, if it's dry.  I sound like I work for the company for goodness sake!  I cannot rave enough about the Olive blossom line.

i am a korres lover and have been using it since before it was available in this country.

first, i want to say thank you for posting this thread, because i recently ordered some korres, but did not open the box until i read your thread.

i have only tried the olive oil body wash, but not the body cream. like you, i did receive a sample golden apple body cream, but obviously haven't opened it yet. yes, shame on me. (smile)

is that the scent you received?

i suspect because this is a new scent, that it will be at least part of the upcoming tsv.

while i have not strayed from korres, i have tried other brands of body wash and body cream, including philosophy and josie. late last year, i decided to just use korres (but will use up the other brands, 'cause i'm not into wasting money).

i love that korres does not use the potentially harmful chemicals, and goes above the call of duty, in my opinion, to let you know that. i also love that when you find a scent that you love, they still have it years later. i guess if a scent doesn't continue to sell well, they will stop it.

i also like that the products are consistent. by that i mean, the bottle of body wash i bought last year, smells like the same scent, i bought this year. i have found that in some brands that is not always the case.

i will follow your lead and use the sample on my hands, as i have yet to find a cream for my hands that provides the moisture that i am looking for. i handle a LOT of paper daily, so my hands get dry quick.

there will be a korres tsv on 2/17. that may be a good time to tune in and learn more about the brand.
and if you over spend, it is not my fault. i am merely passing along some information. (smile)
if you like free shipping, korres doesn't disappoint!

as one that has tried all 3 (korres, philosophy and josie maran), i have continuously used korres since in came out in the 90's. i tried to like josie, but it got annoying when i couldn't continue to get the scent that i liked. that and for whatever reason, i used more of that body butter then any other brand. i think it's because it's whipped, but i don't know that for sure.

my vote is to stick with korres - great selection, they use natural ingredients, prices are very reasonable. the hosts let liz explain the ingredients and what they do, without interjecting. and like you said, just put on dots of it, instead of a pump full or a finger full.

Thanks for the heads up on that TSV,  I'm assuming, of course, you mean on HSN.  I can't wait to try the Olive Oil line now.  Wouldn't it be great if that was the TSV?  Well for me it would, @iwrite
