About a year ago I started using Isomers newest Matrixyl 4 Pure Serum, then followed with the cream when it was introduced a few months later. It is one of the hundreds of products I've tried over the years that I could actually notice a difference. After a while I got bored and wanted to try something new while continuing to use the Matrixyl. Yes,I am a skin care addict!😊I had heard about the Korean 7 skin method, and decided to try it,not really expecting much.I WAS WRONG! It has been a total game changer. It has made my skin plump, hydrated and glowing. All I'm really doing different is using a mild toner followed by an essence and gently press and pat thes products into my skin and continue with my serums etc.It doesn't take long at all. What sold me was when I was at a plastc surgeon for a consult about laser treatments and she told me that I have beautiful skin! It has been many years since I've heard that!😊

@staceyluvsyou, I have never heard of this. What products are you using and in what order?

I was intrigued with this a while back, and also adopted it as part of my a.m. routine. (Not that I was dry.) But it does seem to stimulate hydration. I use my DIY toner (fermented rice, green tea & lemon), along with another essence and a rose toner.
I love to learn different methods! Sometimes it is not the product itself, but the method.
So happy you like it, too, and have seen & felt the results!

@ Harpa, may I ask which essence and rose toner?

Hi yes I have tried a shortened version of this . I have oily skin but in the winter can get dehydrated . I have tried it using about 3 layers of toners .It is very hydrating and for skin like mine which can break out from heavy or rich products this is wonderful .I will probably start this up again with winter fast approaching .Some of my favorite YouTubers have videos on how to incorporate the 7 toner method into your routine: Free Range DIva , And the Color Green and Green Beauty Trish all have a 7 toner method video . Once you find them just search 7 toner method and their videos will come up

If you're looking for an excellent hydrating toner to incorporate into your beauty routine, I highly recommend this one. This is a newer version of their previous enhanced toner which now contains rosewater. I love this stuff.
It makes my skin feel so soft and glowing. Some of you may know that I make some of my own skin care products and I use this new toner to make my own 2% BHA solution. It is so good. Be sure to look for the rose on the bottle when you go to buy it.![]()
There is also a brand new facial mist:

Hi!
I noticed you hadn't received a response yet, so I thought I'd share my experience. I have used the routine below (almost faithfully) for about 6 months and I notice a huge difference in texture, tone, color, and moisture. You can google and find lots of combinations and I think any version of the products you love will work. Just experiment until you find the right combinations for you.
My routine:
Morning:
Light Cleanser - I have a stock pile of these and no particular favorite right now
Toner with Vitamin C (Trying to deal with one last age spot)
Essence - I use May Coup Raw Sauce Right now but have used the Essence from Skinn in the past and liked it even better
Moisturizer - Currently using rose oil from Trader Joe's This really works for me. It's very light, doesn't cause break out and absorbs quickly. Use whatever moisturizer works for you!
Sunscreen
Throughout the Day
If I'm overly dry, I will use facila water to mist. Right now I'm using Ole Henriksen nurture me and I really like it. It doesn't make my make up run, has good ingredients and seems to work.
Night:
Oil Cleansing - I'm using Philosophy oil cleanser but don't really love it. I think I like my homemade version better (Sunflower Oil and Castor Oil Mixed Together)
Regular Cleanser (A heavier version than you use in the morning because I'm taking off a lot more make up and environmental gunk) I really love Purity by Philosphy but I have a stash of some others that I'm determine to use up first.
Toner - Same as Morning
Essence - Same as Morning
Moisturizer - I use Milk by Josie Moran but I'm not really loving it. I will switch to something else when this is gone.
3-4 times a week I use a mask of some sort - vitamin C, charcoal, extra moisturizing, aloe vera to soothe, etc. based on what I think my skin is doing at the time. I put it on after the essence and before the moisturizer.
I know it sounds like a lot but it really doesn't take that long and I've noticed such a difference, I think it's worth it.
On the other hand, my sister has used nothing but Noxema for 40 years and her skin looks great too. She hasn't spent a lot of years in heavy make up though.
I hope you find what works for you. TJ Maxx is a good place to find reasonable products to try if you have one near you. Expensive isn't necessarily the best. Have fun experimenting and just do what you think gives the best results.

I added this toning-hydrating aspect to my routine and it works great for me too. Essence/toner routine:
I apply these products in really thin layers and allow them to dry to a slightly tacky feel before applying a treatment serum. This provides intense hydration and multiple types of antioxidant to address different forms of oxidization.
At first I thought for sure there would be problems with pilling or that the products would look strange or peel. They don't. Everything is abosrbed. My skin is just nice and moisturized and plumped up. I've also found that my skin tone is getting even lighter and more uniform. Wasn't looking for that, but I guess it's proof something's working.
