Have any of you beauty guru's here actually tried the Kopari Coconut Melt?  I know there are some reviews under the items but I MUCH prefer my compadres opinion's here on the beauty board - much more reliable!

In particular, I want to know if the Kopari smells better than the ordinary coconut oil you can purchase elsewhere for much less.  Does the Kopari stay smelling 'truer' to coconut, unlike the cheaper cooking kind.  The cheaper one's sort of smell, for lack of a better description, "cheese-like" if you know what I mean?

Thank you in advance for any feedback you'all may have!

@fitfuninformed  I'd be interested in reading some posts on it here in Beauty too.

( There was a "try me" set at Sephora with 4 Kopari products I was kind of interested in, but now it's showing as "out of stock."  Bummer. )

..COCONUT MELT
INGREDIENTS: Cocos Nucifera (ORGANIC Coconut) Oil

Any organic coconut oil will be the exact same thing...Trador joes has it for under 7.00..I dont understand why anyone would pay that price when you can get it so much cheaper unless they want the fancy container it comes in or they just dont realize its the exact same thing in some stores...I can just imagine Kopari laughing all the way to the bank!

I agree with your sentiment MidNight, which is what I'm trying to avoid.  My query is that I have tried the many generic offerings Trader Joe's and other retailers sell which list as an only ingredient of "organic coconut oil", some first pressed, some not - and each vary in the smell.

This Kopari boasts itself in their presentations as smelling like true, real coconut which makes me wonder if there is a difference and that perhaps the others I've tried may contain fillers as well.

I suppose I will just have to try it out for myself and put it to the test.  But thank you girls for taking the time to read and answer by post.  Your thoughts and opinions are always appreciated.

I only use Nutiva organic virgin coconut oil and it is wayyyy cheaper than this and does not have the smell you are referring too- it is a very light, natural coconutscent (almost undetectable) because of the quality and lack of processing.. The reason I prefer the Nutiva is because I have tried others and most have that bad smell- I think of it as a "potato chip" type of scent which is off putting to me.
