Keep The Peace Moisturizer Problem

About three months ago I repurchased a jar of Keep The Peace moisturizer, used it while my skin was unhappy, then stored it away (cool, dark place). Tonight I pulled it out to use it and the product had turned to a medium brown color. I don't mean a little off in color but full on rich brown! The label indicated that it's fine open for 12 months.

Has anyone every had this happen? I'm definately not putting something that shade on my face...ACK!
