I read on People.com that Kate did her own makeup for the wedding. Apparently she wanted to. A makeup artist gave her three or four lessons to prepare and was on hand if she needed her, but she didn't. She had her makeup done for her official engagement photo, didn't like it, and ended up wiping it off and doing it herself!
Her makeup looked beautiful. If she ever needs another job. . .!
