I am really loving WANDER BEAUTY in all formulations, but the stick foundation is quick, easy and not greasy!
It is a home run for me. HTH

Thank you! I'll check it out!

You don't have to wear it like that. It could easily be blended out to achieve just a light coverage.
Also, there are people who do need or want heavier coverage.
For years I used Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer Concealer and Foundation. It is 18 grams and by itself it has a very opaque finish that could cover anything. I would thin it out with a moisturizer for just a light coverage that really was a beautiful finish. I literally needed only the amount of a pinhead. I got it in 2005 and had to throw it out in 2010 with more than half left. It can be used as a concealer that covers birthmarks, tattoos, etc... or thinned to the coverage you want.

@Dusty1 wrote:@wvumountiefan I do not have this one. I am looking at the tarte TSV set that is coming up.
It has a stick foundation in it & reviews are fairly good.
I try to resist trying new things, because everything breaks me out & I hate returning makeup.
There are foundation sticks coming out in every brand recently so there is a lot to choose from depending on the coverage that you want & your skin type.
@Dusty1, have you ever tried Lancome's stick foundation? I've been using it for some time now and really like it. It's not greasy like some; it has a natural matte finish. Excellent reviews. I'm going to pick up a back-up one during Macy's 15% off beauty sale that's coming up in a couple days.
@suzyQ3 if you go through Retailmenot, and spend $50, you can get a $10 cash back. Goes into your PayPal in just a few weeks. I've used it several times too 😁

@Suebdoo, thanks for that little bit of enabling. :-) Unfortunately (or fortunately), I will be buying just the stick foundation, which is $40 something. But I'll definitely keep your tip in mind.

@LTT1, I love all the Wander formulas too. I am still getting the hang of stick foundations which I apply with a damp Beauty Blender. I tend to apply a little too much, but I'm getting better....
I adore the foundation powder-it gives my skin a luminosity that I have been seeking for so long.... Luminizers have just looked greasy on me: that foundation powder is just what I've been trying to achieve.
It's not that I dislike my other foundations, but this one is different!

@wvumountiefan, I have tried a few stick foundations that I like. My skin is dry so I can only recommend ones that are for dry skin. Hourglass Seamless Stick Foundation is a wonderful product. The only thing is that it comes in a much smaller size than most sticks. It is recommended that you are to use less product than other stick foundations. So I guess that makes up for the smaller size. Makeup Forever also makes a great stick foundation. It might seem a little greasy at first but I set it with powder and it works great. Both of these give about medium coverage. You could probably get a full coverage with a heavier application. They both come in a great range of colors.

Years ago we had stick foundation and it was heavy and thick back then, does't look like much has changed. I always hated it. There are so many fine foundations out there, I love Chanel and a brand called Oxygenetix. Would never, ever use the stick foundations.
