She uses soap on her face, rinses a bunch of times using warm water. Then splashes with cool water at night. In the morning several splashes with warm and then cool water. No soap. The only moisturizer she uses is JOJO oil. She has skin on the dryer side. Her skin is beautiful, hardly a line. She's done nothing to her face like fillers, botox etc.
I could take a luxury vacation with the money I've spent on skincare over the years.

Sometimes people are just blessed with fabulous skin.
Sometimes people use too much on their skin.
Everyone is different.

Too bad we didn't get her parents!

I would say that 95% is GENES and if you take care of your facial skin staying away from the sun and moisturizing.

I agree about the 'good parents/genes' and staying out of the sun. I also believe smoking, drinking alcohol/poor eating/poor sleep habits highly contribute to a person's skin appearance.

i went to a christmas bazaar before and one of the sellers was a mother and daughter. i saw the mom first and had to stare because she had gorgeous skin. she wasn't that young, but her skin was like porcelain. then her daughter comes along and had the same type of skin. i was so envious! so yeah, it's genes.

My grandmother (who lived to be 97) always had beautiful skin. She did the same thing, using soap to wash her face and put on regular drugstore moisturizer at night, and stayed out of the sun. When she went out in the sin, she always wore a hat.

Too bad they didn't describe her lifestyle which trumps genes.

Can you share the name of the video?
I like reading very old beauty books starting from the late 1800's. The biggest beauty tip that they offered was to stay out of the harsh sun, wind, and moisterize.
Genetics will help a bunch, but it's a precious gift and you still have to take care of what you've been given.

Years ago when I moved to the rain festival of northwest Oregon, I worked at a hospital and ate in the cafe sometimes.
I was absolutely floored at the skin the elderly, female visitors had. I mean jaw dropping.
Now when I visit my DS in south Texas, I am in awe of the horrible skin.
