My brother's kids live there, and they buy there cars out of state and take them home.
I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense to me. Both my husband and I are California natives and have never felt the need to buy a car elsewhere because of a sticker
It doesn't make sense, but maybe JJ is joking.
People buy cars out of state because of sales tax, but you're taxed when you register it anyway.

I got the same message. It was a sticker but mine was on the mascara! The mascara was in the holder beside the lip gloss but the sticker was on the other side away from the gloss.

Toxins BUILD in the body - once they build to a level that your body can no longer flush it out that's when problems happen.
Mascara / Lipgloss and such is something you use every day and it "could" (not saying it will) build in your body and cause issues. Just depends if your immune system is strong enough to fight it off.
It your body, if you choose to use it...GO FOR IT!! I Did for MANY years too, I have just found that I like non-toxic items just as much and I feel better knowing I'm not putting all of the gunk on my skin and hair and such. I'm still not 100% there, I still use a few hair items that are FAR from non toxic but I figure at least I have eliminated what I can.
We own our own bodies - you can either feed your body or fuel the disease and it's our OWN choice ![]()

I would hope that JJ is joking…people don't really think that just because other states don't require a warning that the hazardous ingredient isn't included in those products do they?…I mean do they think that the the manufacturers add cancer-causing ingredients to California- bound products but not elsewhere? The product, car, etc is exactly the same everywhere with the same ingredients it's just that CA mandates a warning while other states do not.

yes and if you buy a car out of state and then go to register it in California, the car HAS to meet California specs or you won't be able to register it (not just the tax part) so what she said doesn't make sense.

Here is the response I just received today from someone on Mally's team:
Thank you for your email! The chemical in the mascara is Triethanolamine, which may contain Diethanolamine or DEA, a listed chemical under a chemical disclosure law specific to California known as Proposition 65. Because Triethanolamine may be associated with Diethanolamine or DEA, the label on the mascara was required. We do not use this label elsewhere, as it is not required by other regulatory groups, such as the European Union and the Food and Drug Administration. Triethanolamine is a synthetic, pale yellow liquid and is used an emulsifier in a variety of cosmetic and personal care products, including eyeliners, mascara, eye shadows, blushers, make-up bases and foundations, as well as in fragrances, hair care products, hair dyes, wave sets, shaving products, sunscreens, and skin care and skin cleansing products. It is in our Volumizing and Ginormous Mascara, not in our waterproof formulas.
Best,
Blake

Why in the world would anyone want to use products that cause cancer. My MALLY MASCARA has a warning label and why would I want to put this product on my eyes. No matter where you live or who you are, it is a CANCER CAUSING AGENT. I am a California native and every state should have this warning. It is all manufactured in the same place and no matter what state it is shipped to it still causes cancer. Can you imagine the lose of money to both MALLY COSMETICS AND QVC if no one bought the products!!! These chemicals should not be used in ANYTHING. There are great products out there that DO NOT use such chemicals. Don't use these products and invite this harmful chemical in to your lives. WHY WOULD YOU LADIES?? CANCER CAUSING PRODUCTS ON YOUR EYES??? REALLY MALLY?? WHO WOULD DO THIS?? PLEASE reconsider what you use.. remember it is made in the same lab and the same chemical product is shipped out to different states. and it is still CANCER CAUSING. JUST BECAUSE IT IS CALIFORNIA?? THE STATE IS STRICT FOR A PURPOSE AND THAT IS TO INFORM YOU AND YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION IF YOU WANT TO USE TO USE THE PRODUCT OR NOT. We all want to be pretty and younger looking, im 57 years old and fighting it all the way, but cancer is not pretty.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE. i am not talking bad about a product just the ugly cancer....

I am very sensitive to all cosmetics and preservatives and additives so I would not dare to use Mally's or other cosmetics that aren't organic or natural. I real labels and it can be very scary..Just be cautious..I am in Texas but no Mally for me..

My mascara from the kit had the warning label, I live in GA. I wasn't in love with the kit so it went back. Those of you who are worried about this label should be aware that most of the cosmetic companies place some sort of chemical in their products, not to mention even animal testing. For future, I will be looking further into the cosmetics I purchase thus look for all natural ingredients. If it makes you uncomfortable, send it back and for future look into the ingredients in your purchases.
