You don't need patience. I "play" on my phone. If the owner is doing my pedicure, I talk to him. He has a good sense of humor and speaks and understands English. The others don't. Or I'll start a conversation with someone sitting next to me. I think I'm going to a different place that is able to do some of the more intricate designs I find on Pintrest. It's another 30 minutes away but we can combine the trip with other things.

A lot of people around here are doing/wearing everything pink!

That's been my "trend" for decades lol Pink, blue and purple.

You're lucky @monicakm! I wish I could wear those pretty feminine colors, but with my warm coloring I stick to peaches and corals!

Yeah, I'm a "cool summer" so those colors are the most flattering on me. I bought an orange shirt once many years ago to wear to homecoming. My mother took one look at me and said "why on earth would you buy an ORANGE shirt!?" LOL Didn't make that mistake again I like a pink-coral. It has to be more pink than peach iykwim

I have never had a mani or pedi. I have always done that myself.

@monicakm - DD is also a cool summer. That's why I "get" a lot of makeup colors that don't work for her - LOL! She is "Nicole Kidman " fair, with naturally ash blonde hair (now colored darker -depending on what week it is!) and green eyes.

I on the other hand am a warm autumn, with honey blonde hair (that is lighter and blonder these days), light skin, and hazel eyes. I look horrible in pink, and white, but I wish I could wear them. I wear off-white or cream a lot.

So we never return makeup. We just give it to each other if the color isn't right!
