If you want to take vitamins for the sake of taking vitamins then go for it. If you think vitamins are going to make your thin hair thicker, you will be disappointed.
There are many reasons females get thin hair, among them are genetics, stress, medical conditions like thyroid problems, drugs, hormonal imbalance and others.
You might want to check with your doctor to see if there are any medical problems causing thinness and try to keep you stress levels low.
There are also FDA approved products for women to apply to their scalp that are proven to grow hair.

I have a hard time with any hair vitamins that have more than just Biotin in them. Now they add MSM which gives me terrible migrains, or horsetail, etc. There are too many additives in the hair vitamins offered.

Research Cynatine HNS. I need to try this. My hair has been thinning. HHS&N has done nothing for it. I have asked my doctor about it & he said nothing???
I'm hypotyhroid so I know he thinks it's from that which it probably is. It's a side effect of the medication.
A Clinical trial to investigate the effect of Cynatine HNS hair and nail parameters.
A new, novel product, Cynatine HNS, was evaluated for its effects as a supplement for improving various aspects of hair and nails in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial.
METHODS:A total of 50 females were included and randomized into two groups. The active group (n = 25) received 2 capsules containing Cynatine HNS, comprised of Cynatine brand keratin (500 mg) plus vitamins and minerals, per day, and the placebo group (n = 25) received 2 identical capsules of maltodextrin per day for 90 days. End points for hair loss, hair growth, hair strength, amino acid composition, and hair luster were measured. End points were also measured for nail strength and the appearance of nails.
RESULTS:The results show that subjects taking Cynatine HNS showed statistically significant improvements in their hair and nails when compared to placebo.
CONCLUSION:Cynatine HNS is an effective supplement for improving hair and nails in 90 days or less. EudraCT number is 2014-002645-22.

I'm so glad you posted this! I usually like the same products as you do and often look to your recommendations for beauty products. I'm going to give them a try. My hair is thinning also. I also have used AL's and didn't see much improvement. I did find that it made my nails, which are usually very long and strong, brittle. It has good reviews and I can always send them back. I'm not looking for my hair to look like Joyce's. I'm sure hers is genetic but hope it helps my thinning hair!

I just did my homework, and like others I have concluded the key ingredient in this is the Cynatine HNS, not found in Lessmans product. I found a very similar formula from Nature's Bounty for a fraction of the cost. 60 tabs for under $10 on ebay and amazon. I am going to try the Nature's Bounty. check it out. I will add it to compliment Lessmans and the plain Biotin high potency I already take. Cant hurt!!!
I only take one Lessman a day along with the plain Biotin.
Giraud's does contain 10,000 mcg Biotin which is the max daily recommended.

I would have liked to try this product but the price is steep. Also, does it just increase hair growth on the head. Don’t know much about Cynatine but I was wondering about it. Has anyone studied this ingredient?

I ordered 30 day version of JG's. I'll keep an open mind.
Consult Beaute made me have poor sleep patterns, so after 7 consecutive nights back they went. I took them in the morning. Something didnt agree w/me I guess.

I have been taking Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins for several months and have seen no improvement. I have found that they make me have extreme dry mouth. I recently ordered Biocell Life (a liquid collagen) and will try it for a month. It is supposed to help with joint issues, improve skin and people have stated that they saw improvement with thinning hair. It has a money back guarantee, so I'll definitely return it if I see no improvement.
