Re: Josie's jars of body butter with pumps

@Coastalcarolina  Did not know that...I'm not willing to spend that kind of money to take a chance that I won't get a full amount of product.  I was gonna grab it, but the longer I wait, the less I think I want it.  I have several of the little 2 oz sizes and they come sealed and full.  They last a while because you only need a quarter size to smear on both arms or legs.  They are on sale in a set of 4 on her website right now for 25 bucks and I have a coupon.  Think that's the way I'm gonna go.  Thanks for the info!

I am probably in the minority here, but I suspected she started making this available so that we couldn't see the missing product.

I like many others starting seeing huge holes in the tub of body butter.  It was disheartening and it was getting worse with newer orders.  At least that's my experience.

Yes!  Thought I was the only one totally annoyed by this. I too got tired of getting Josie's bb and upon opening there's a huge air bubble with lot of missing product. Kind of a rip-off IMO, especially when you watch her shows the jars are overflowing full. Kind of deceiving, and while I don't expect jars to be overfilled I do expect it more than half or 2/3 for the prices she charges.

The cream is sold by weight not volume. If Josie was shorting people on product I don't think she would be in business very long.

@Love orchids  Love them!  The product (ANY product with a pump that is a thick cream) forms a donut shape around the pump due to the suction. Remove the lid, pat the sides to redistribute the product, replace lid and no issue. At some point I simply place it on it's side and scoop some out with a plastic spoon. No issues.

When empty, I dump my Beekman whipped body cream or any other body cream into the jar and use it as the pump is made well and works with all products I normally use. So far I have a pump filled with her product, one filled with Beekman, one filled with Tweak'd body rescue cream and one filled with Korres cream.

As someone else said, the products are sold via volume; I've seen the same air bubbles, 3/4 filled in MANY products and not just skin care either. Not concerned.

I agree with @FiddleDeeDee,. I've had no problem with the pump.  When the product gets low I just refill it with another jar of the body butter.  I actually prefer the pump to the jars.

They should stop over filling those tubs on tv and show what you actually receive in the mail.  This will soften the blow to those consumers that receive a product 2/3's full.

I bought three sets on AD last year when it was the TSV. Everyone of the containers have been filled appropriately.

I agree the ones they display are overfilled but if someone is expecting that much in a container they have unrealistic expectations because the lids would not go on they are heaped up so high.

I will have to respectfully disagree with you @MG Chris.  I remember years ago buying her body butter.  Filled to the very top, no holes, no spillage or running over the jar.  Same ounces, same package but less and less product. Shrinkflation in my humble opinion.  How was it possible to do it in the beginning but not now?

Also buy other lotions by volume.  Still a full jar.  No hole in product.

Re: Josie's jars of body butter with pumps

Yeah, funny how the jars on show demos have no huge air holes in them!  Also, in my experience it's been the same with the bottles of argan milk for the body. It's kinda hard to tell at first but looking closer it's nowhere near filled to top.
