Re: Josie Maran will no longer be on QVC on air

I wonder if her rep, Marissa, will still have a job?  This is the one that has appeared on the Q with her.   Marissa used to work for IT.   Hope she's able to continue to work for the company.

Re: Josie Maran will no longer be on QVC on air

From what Sandra said at the end of the program, QVC won't be having any on-air Josie programs in the near future.  She said nothing is planned right now.

I take it that perhaps Josie's products will be offered online on QVC like any other retailer that handles her products, but the deals that QVC has always had for her items won't be available anymore.

Josie said she would still be "online" and wanted people to follow her, but she was emphasizing her sites so I still really don't know if the Q will continue to sell her products once their current stock is gone--just my opinion, that wasn't said by either of them.  They never came out and said that Q will still have Josie products or not.  I thought it was all rather ambiguous.  The way Sandra was talking to Josie it sounded like they would never see each other again.

For those that would like to see the show, Q3 is rerunning it today at 4pm est.  Her statements are at the very end of the show.

My prediction: This now presents the opportunity for Kim Gravel to have a line of argan oil products with her name attached.

Seems everyone who leaves "wants to spend more time with their family."  Maybe, maybe not.  When someone leaves I can always predict their reason.

It’s like when I worked for this big company. When an executive left it was” yo pursue other interest”.

Josie just announced on her last show ever she is stepping away from on air QVC, she will only be online at QVC. She wants to spend more time with her family.

@Applecakes It seems to me that every person that leaves QVC uses the old "spending more time with the family"  thing.  I rarely see that end up being the case.

@Biftu  -  I don't believe this reason and the same when the hosts use it.

I believe she's preparing to sell the company.

Re: Josie Maran will no longer be on QVC on air

Isn't that the premise of coming to QVC as a vendor?  Make mega bucks and then retire so to speak?

I remember seeing Lori Greiner on shark tank speaking to a person trying to get them on board with their products.  She was telling them that she was the one that had ties to Q, and it was light, cameras and instant success!

If the product is a hit and people are happy it's a win win.  But sooner or later they leave for different reasons.  Maybe she made all the money she desires or needs.  Good for her and any entrepreneur that can go the long haul it must take to be successful.👏👏👏👏👏

This also impacts the Q revenue.   Will be interesting.

Or, now Morgen Schick will come to the Q as well as HSN with her Active Argan line.
