I love a bunch of JM's products, but I, too, had a few of the Color Sticks dry out. I do like the Gelees--which is an entirely different animal--but another option.

I never had any issues with the color sticks, I use them all the time on both my lips and cheeks and I store them in my make up case. I like them a lot.

I had the same issue with the product dragging after I hadn't used it for a while. I thought I'd have to toss it. Then I read a suggestion here on the boards that did the trick; I just wiped off a bit of the top layer and underneath was the creamy stick again. So I'm back in business with my Josie color sticks!

I put a dab of argan oil on stick, back to new !!!
