Josie Maran...Finally Bit the Bullet for the First Time

I have been curious about this line for awhile and caved in today. I am more interested in the Argon Oil and the Cheek Tint. My skin is very dry. I don't expect miracles but just a little improvement. I've been looking for a cream blush also. Anyone else decide to give it a try.

Re: Josie Maran...Finally Bit the Bullet for the First Time

I have semi oily skin despite being in my early 60's. Not too many problems in the wrinkle department. So, I grew up thinking oil in products was forbidden. I also can't take any fragrance in products and that hasn't changed. I tried the regular JM argan and I love it. Day and night. Absorbs quickly and I can apply under the eyes and the neck too. This dry winter I added the argan milk (I got it in a sample size with my last order) and now I ordered a full size of that one. No blocked pores and no red dots (sensitive skin R US). I can't use the face wash and I don't care for the cheek tint, but I love the oil and now the milk. Just wait a few minutes before applying your foundation and you will be happier. I keep a little bottle for travel, don't want to be without and it simplifies my routine.

I love Josie's products. I use the oil, body butter. SPF47 moisturizer, coconut water cheek stain, and balm. My problem is to not over-buy, because she doesn't use preservatives and I had a large size hand cream that went rancid before I could use it up. If you just want the oil you can get it cheaper, but I love the other products. I use the oil on my neck where I tend to get rashes, it creates a barrier that seems to protect my skin.

If I didn't have so much JM stock already, I'd get the TSV. I love her products. The only item I don't like is the color stick, as I've had three go rancid on me and turn grey/gummy.

OK ~ I will try this yet again....

I came close to ordering the TSV last night, but backed out. I read many many reviews on the makeup, and I saw "chalky & orange" so I didn't order. Can anyone here tell me how the makeup works on them? I am still on the fence. Thank You!!

Hi Mistic - I always use the lightest shade in any foundation range; I have the Fair/Light and it is just perfect for me; I would not use it if it had any orange at all. It leaves a flawless "eggshell" finish - not dewey or totally matte, but very natural, but I don't use much because I do not seek a "full coverage" finish. Initially, I used too much and got a full coverage look, so it is definitely buildable. I really, really love the foundation in this TSV!!

Karena ~ Thank You for your reply. I just took the plunge, and in a big way. LOL

I bought the TSV, the chubby concealer, a big kit with the 8 oz "fluffy" butter, and another big one one with the "fluffy" butter in a tint. From everything I have read, I fear I will be hooked. My skin is beyond dry... Thanks for helping me.

Re: Josie Maran...Finally Bit the Bullet for the First Time

I'm in my sixties and my skin especially in winter is getting dryer. I tried the argon oil and it broke me out. I've been using organic camellia oil from Julie Hewitt on Shop Hq and my skin has never looked better. This oil is so light weight and must have anti inflammatory properties because where my skin had a lot of red areas it's now clear.
