Josie Maran Every-Body Wash Now Body Cleanser

Well, I got suckered in to thinking that because this product is "clean beauty" that it would actually be better....

I received the Josie Maran Every-Body Wash Now Argan Body Cleanser in Citrus Vanilla yesterday, used it last night and my skin doesn't feel any different than using other shower gels. The fragrance is blah.

I'm not able to leave a review because it sold out.

Back it goes.....

What did you want it to do that the other shower gels were not doing?

I probably have a 3 year supply of Philosophy body wash. Other than smelling nice, it really doesn't do anything for me at all. After that is gone, I may just dig into the plastic tub of small hotel soaps I have collected over the years! Sorry you don't like your product. Josie does a good job of selling - already been there and done that with her.

All beauty products sold on QVC are legally clean.

Most recently, I grabbed for $19.00 a set, from QVC, Harry Slatkin 32 ounce body wash, plus a 16 oz (I think) lotion to match. They are to date, the most heavily and heavenly scented body washes and lotions I have had in a while. My favorite is the Sea Salt Lavendar. The dry down is so pretty and lasts until morning. The Basil Cucumber is the lightest scent, but also beautiful. I got my grandaughter the Lemoncello and she said it smells like vanilla and lemon and she said it's wonderful (she's 11 🩷). It was a bargain and I'm impressed and going back for more.

Fragrance is always subjective and I buy what I think I will like!

I am now using only Clean shower gels, no more Philospphy, Korres or Perlier. dont expect anything more from it, I just like that my wash has no sulfates or artificial dyes in them. So many Clean brands are out there.

@Mz iMac during the presentation they talked about because it is clean beauty it doesn't have the ingredients that dry out your skin. I have been using Philosophy shower gels since the 1990's and love the scents but yes they do tend to dry out my skin a bit. So I thought I would try something that doesn't have the sulfates and such (i.e. clean beauty) and see if they would not be drying to the skin.

But JM gave me the exact same results so the lack of the "bad" ingredients didn't do anything different.

@Shelbelle I'm asking an honest question here.....you really don't expect anything more from clean shower gels vs. ones that still have the sulfates and such?

No, nothing tangible or visible, just to know that they are more natural is all I expect. What more would you expect ?

@Shelbelle as I said in another reply, I would hope by removing the bad ingredients that the product would perform better. I think I'm hoping for too much
