after my big makeup purge I'm looking for a new foundation. I am looking for something with sheer to medium coverage.

I am thinking about the Jones Road foundation but I have combination normal/oily skin and I'm wondering if this might be too oily/shiny looking.

has anyone with combination skin tried it?

@MariotaMurielle   My skin is dry and it was a bit too oily, shiny for me. I'm all for not being matte, but this actually looked a little greasy.

Many newer foundations now are sheer buildable coverage. After Covid, so many got used to the "no makeup" natural look.

Check out the video review by Robert Welsh on YouTube.  He's not a fan and explains why.

Emily Noel wasn't a fan either.

I don't think I've seen any beauty YouTubers speak positively about the Jones Road foundation. I've seen two or three try to act convincing. It was hard to watch.

I'm really enjoying the Rose Inc serum foundation. Chanel makes one as well. It's tiny little spheres of color suspended in a clear serum. It's a very sheer foundation so if you have anything to hide or cover up you might not like it.

@MariotaMurielle I have the same type of skin. I Mac Stdio Fix Fluid is great.

I also use Fenty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Powder Foundation.

They both go on very nicely & wear well all day.

And, neither one breaks me out which is a huge deal for me!!

thanks for all your replies. I watched several Youtube videos (should have done that first Smiley Happy ) and I have to say Robert Welsh really answered all my questions and I can see that this one won't work for me.

I'll investigate your suggestions.
