I wanted to follow-up on my order. I purchased three balms and the start-up kit.

The lip gloss is not the sticky tacky gloss I remember from the Bobbi Brown brand thank goodness. I really like the minty smell and feel to this gloss.

The eye pencil is a basic black, easy to sharpen, and very blendable. The dark brown shadow had nice color payoff. Our lighter skin toned ladies might not find this as universal: brows, roots, etc. Just a sec eyeshadow is a golden peach and just lovely. Yes, sparkly but not glitter. Another universal product. Could be mixed with balm for sparkle on neck.

The balms: nothing like Honest balm or a salve. I don't love the initial smell, but I can overlook that. It doesn't smell once on my face. The colors are truly beautiful and very usable. I wear very little foundation because I have great skin, but want some glow, vibrance, life to my skin. This is a wonderful way to do it! I dramatize my looks with my eye makeup but on my face, I just refuse to put myself through the heavy makeup anymore (in my 40's).

Thx for reading. Wishing health and happiness.

This line looks like its for women that don't like wearing makeup.  The models below look makeup free.  I enjoy wearing makeup so this line doesn't appeal to me.

@all

Thanks for the review. I used Bobbie Browns line exclusively for over 10 years. Once I went cruelty free about 7 years ago I stopped. I am 57 and agree with you I am finding I prefer to wear less makeup especially working from home and wearing masks. If this line is cruelty free I would definitely give it a try. Have a great weekend 😀

That third picture makes me want to tweeze her eyebrows!  I appreciate 'natural' as much as anyone, but I think these photos could all use a little blush!  Smiley LOL

@all  Thanks for the review.  I'm planning to use a fine liner brush with the brown shadow as my eye liner. Have you tried that?

Interesting!  Thanks for sharing @all , never heard of this.  I see it is a new brand.  I always struggle with make-up.  Right now, going bare, since I wear a mask when I see anybody.  I'll wait a little bit and may try it in the future.

@all   LOL, I was just going to post my review as well Smiley Happy

I ordered the kit and the mascara. The black pencil is very black and creamy. I found the cap cheap and there is no sharpener. It's great for tightlining. The brown eyeshadow is darker than I thought; for some reason I thought it was going to lighter with a hint of bronze (I may have been thinking of shadows to come that she discussed elsewhere). It's almost black, it's so dark but it does work for eyebrows despite having uber pale skin. With a light hand, it can be shaded out beautifully over the peach (cream) eyeshadow.

My peach eyeshadow arrived...odd. It appears to have been used but it's a new line so...I don't know. The cap wasn't on, just resting and it looks like someone dug out product by repeatedly pressing heavily on one side (if you use cream makeup products, you probably know what I mean). I contacted them and am waiting for a response.

The lip gloss is nice; a true basic and well with other products. She only offers 4 shades but looks like there will be at least 7 soon.

The mascara is very nice. VERY black and inky. It's a keeper.

I found these all worked very well over full foundation and under powder. They give you the full BB "look" but can also be worn minimally. Also great for a teen/someone who is just starting out wearing makeup.  These are just the first items she's offering; foundation sticks/pencils will arrive in January and she's planning on bringing out MANY products as time goes on. I get the impression she is funding her own business so the money has to roll in before she rolls out all she's thinking about. So far, so good IMHO.

@Sammijo10  - Agree the eyebrows definitely need a little help!

Happy to see BB back.  This line needs to expand a lot.  The no make up look is not for me so I'm hoping there are more COLOR and products added.  I'll be watching.

So far this Jones Road is not appealing to me.  I like to wear at least a tinted moisturizer so hopefully she will introduce that, if not, I won't be purchasing anything.
