Joan Rivers Fill-In Powder

I love Joan's Fill-In Powder. It has been a lifesaver and is one of my most favorite purchases from QVC.

Does anyone know if your hair can be professionally colored with this product still on your hair, or should you wash it out before your hair appointment? It does seem to coat your roots and I would wonder whether the hair coloring would be able to penetrate it? I would not want to spend the fortune of having my hair colored to find out later that the hair dye couldn't cover, or wasn't as effective, in the areas where the fill-in powder was. Anyone know? Thanks!
